INJURED, SICK OR UNWELL CHILD?
A&E is not the answer

There is a faster, more effective way to get your child treated.

Cuts?
Sprains?
Strains?
Itches?
Sheffield City GP Health Centre offers a walk-in service, meaning you can come down to the centre and be seen by a nurse or doctor without an appointment.
Vomiting?
Ear pain?
Sore tummy?
Make an appointment at our centre if your child is suffering from something that will not go away. Again, you can walk-in and be seen by a doctor or register at the surgery by calling 0141 271 2700.
Diarrhoea?
Runny nose?
Painful cough?
Headache?
These symptoms are best dealt with by an experienced trained pharmacist.
Grazed knee?
Sore throat?
Cough?
Self-help is the best way forward here. It’s good idea to always have the following to hand: paracetamol, anti-diarrhoea tablets, rehydration tablets, indigestion tablets, plasters and a thermometer.
A&E IS FOR EMERGENCIES ONLY
Only if your child is choking, blacking out or losing a lot of blood should you call an ambulance or get down to A&E immediately. If your child is not experiencing a life-threatening or critical condition seek the help of Sheffield City GP Health Centre, open 8:00am – 8:00pm, seven days a week, 365 days a year.

INJURED, SICK OR UNWELL CHILD?
Hi everyone,
The telephone number for Sheffield City GP Health Centre is 0114 241 2700, NOT 0114 271 2700 as I originally put.
Sorry if anyone's been trying to get through.
