Is your family complete?

Is an unplanned pregnancy the last thing on your mind?

Are you over-35 and having unprotected sex?

If you are over 35, having regular periods and unprotected sex and you know that both you and your partner are clinically fertile, there is still a chance every month that you could get pregnant.

In 2008, women aged 40-44 had the same rate of abortion of those under 16 and 20,000 women aged 35-39 had an abortion.

Just because you are over 35 and your fertility is declining, it hasn’t disappeared completely.

How would you cope with an unplanned pregnancy?

As part of Contraceptive Awareness Week (8th-14th February 2010) we are encouraging women of your age to come down to Sheffield City GP Health Centre to talk to us about any concerns regarding pregnancy and contraception.

There are many contraceptive methods available to you – come down to speak to one of our nurses or contact us on 0114 241 2700.

We are open 8:00am to 8:00pm seven days a week, 365 days a year
(offering NHS Healthcare to everyone).
